Este volumen reúne trabajos de profesionales dedicados a los estudios fonético-fonológicos de distintas universidades nacionales e institutos de educación superior de Argentina y Brasil.
Los trabajos abordan una variedad de temáticas de la pronunciación de lenguas desde diferentes marcos teóricos y perspectivas, algunos de ellos orientados hacia la investigación de fenómenos segmentales y suprasegmentales, y otros vinculados con la aplicación a la enseñanza de lenguas.
Los distintos capítulos de este libro responden a la pregunta "¿Cómo suenan las lenguas?" y representan "Aportes desde y hacia la teoría y práctica".
En tal sentido, reflejan la variedad de intereses y enfoques que ocupan a los docentes e investigadores de estas latitudes del mundo en lo referido al estudio de la fonética y la fonología de lenguas.

Cada uno de los volúmenes de la serie Estudios SAEL completa el proceso iniciado con la organización del congreso que lo antecede. En estos libros, se reúnen exposiciones que han sido adecuadas al formato de capítulos y que, además, han sido evaluadas positivamente por un riguroso sistema de referato doble ciego, en el que participan destacados especialistas argentinos y —como en este caso— también del exterior. <br />Tomados en conjunto, el congreso y el libro configuran una imagen actualizada del campo de los estudios lingüísticos en esta parte del mundo. Tanto las producciones como las respectivas evaluaciones son aspectos de una operación de autoobservación, mediante la cual la ciencia lingüística desarrollada en Argentina manifiesta sus temas de interés, las perspectivas teóricas utilizadas, los marcos de referencia de los diferentes estados del área reconocidos, los hallazgos logrados y las proyecciones de la disciplina de cara al futuro. Este libro, entonces, es una manifestación de la intensa actividad desarrollada por investigadoras e investigadores de diferentes centros académicos de todo el país, una actividad que, además de rigurosa, es colaborativa, porque encuentra su sentido en la comunicación, en el hecho de compartir públicamente el trabajo realizado.<br />Estudios SAEL 2025 consta de treinta y un capítulos. Las producciones fueron distribuidas en seis partes, que no obedecen a categorías discretas sino a etiquetas que identifican y agrupan líneas de investigación de acuerdo con el reconocimiento de rasgos específicos y, en general, graduales.

<p>"¿Cómo lingüístiquearla?" es el último libro de la trilogía lingüistiquera y busca introducir a quienes recorran sus páginas en la cocina del trabajo sobre las lenguas desde diferentes dimensiones que incluyen la investigación, la didáctica y la extensión. Los intereses y recorridos académicos de las autoras y los autores de cada capítulo nos han ido formando en una metodología de acercamiento a nuestro objeto de estudio que nos parece interesante compartir con un público amplio.<br />En general, uno puede tener claros los "porqué" y los "para qué" de iniciar un recorrido, pero los "cómo" no son siempre evidentes, más aún cuando todo se nos presenta desde el resultado. Contar los "cómo" es muy necesario para explicitar de qué manera se llega a ciertas conclusiones, pero también para que otras personas conozcan de qué forma se puede transitar un recorrido de trabajo sobre el lenguaje. Es el gesto de decir: te cuento cómo lo hice yo, así podés hacer algo parecido y mejorarlo.</p>

El trabajo con leyendas en el nivel primario ofrece múltiples beneficios para el desarrollo integral de los estudiantes. Constituye una fuente valiosa de motivación para la estimulación de la imaginación, la memoria, la concentración, las destrezas para la resolución de problemas y la inteligencia emocional (Conway, 2023). A su vez, beneficia no solo la lecto-comprensión sino también las otras competencias lingüísticas como la escritura, la oralidad y la escucha. Aporta también un amplio abanico de secuencias formulaicas, entendidas como grupos de palabras que aparecen frecuentemente en conjunto y que se perciben como unidades de sentido (Selivan, 2018; Lindstromberg & Boers, 2008), que, traídas al aula de la lengua materna y/o extranjera, promueven la fluidez y la precisión lingüística en los estudiantes.
Por otro lado, el diseño curricular de la provincia de Río Negro (2011) propone la lectura individual y/o colectiva de leyendas para el segundo y el tercer ciclo del nivel primario. Teniendo en cuenta este contexto y las potencialidades del trabajo con este tipo de textos descritas previamente, se compartirá la experiencia de una docente de inglés que trabajó con la lectura y comprensión de una leyenda, en conjunto con la enseñanza y aprendizaje de secuencias formulaicas específicas de este tipo de relatos. La docente en cuestión estuvo a cargo de un taller de inglés en una escuela primaria de General Roca durante el ciclo lectivo 2024 e implementó una secuencia didáctica diseñada por el equipo de investigación J040 “Secuencias formulaicas en leyendas y canciones: enseñanza-aprendizaje de Inglés como Lengua Extranjera en escuelas primarias y secundarias”. Con el fin de recolectar datos cuantitativos y cualitativos para el proyecto, la educadora fue capacitada para implementar este material basado en una leyenda. En esta propuesta, se presentarán y analizarán las decisiones metodológicas que guiaron la selección del material de lectura, el diseño y la secuenciación en actividades de pre-, mientras y pos-lectura (Brown, 2015) y el abordaje adoptado para la enseñanza y aprendizaje de secuencias formulaicas basado en el modelo de Nation (2022), en contraste con las reflexiones de la docente. También se desprenderán posibles aplicaciones e implicaciones pedagógicas para el trabajo con otro tipo de textos narrativos en otras áreas de conocimiento.
Se espera que la propuesta para el diseño de materiales para la lecto-comprensión de leyendas y el aprendizaje de vocabulario en el nivel primario, junto con las contribuciones de esta docente de inglés resulten inspiradoras para los asistentes. Al mismo tiempo, se apunta también a familiarizar a los participantes con una visión formulaica del lenguaje y promover su reflexión sobre la relevancia y las ventajas de trabajar con secuencias formulaicas no solo en las áreas de lengua e inglés, sino también en otras materias.

Se espera que la propuesta para el diseño de materiales para la lecto-comprensión de leyendas y el aprendizaje de vocabulario en el nivel primario, junto con las contribuciones de esta docente de inglés resulten inspiradoras para los asistentes. Al mismo tiempo, se apunta también a familiarizar a los participantes con una visión formulaica del lenguaje y promover su reflexión sobre la relevancia y las ventajas de trabajar con secuencias formulaicas no solo en las áreas de lengua e inglés, sino también en otras materias.

Durante el año 2025, la Cátedra de Inglés de la Facultad de Economía, a cargo de la profesora María Belén Martínez del Departamento de Idiomas con Propósitos Específicos, desarrolló un trabajo basado en proyectos. A lo largo del cursado, los estudiantes llevaron adelante proyectos de investigación–servicio en los que articularon sus saberes de inglés con los contenidos propios de sus carreras y con la resolución de problemáticas reales de la comunidad. El proceso incluyó la lectura y el análisis de textos académicos en inglés para la elaboración del marco teórico, la selección de un problema relevante, el diseño e implementación de una metodología de investigación, y la comparación de resultados con los aportes de autores especializados. Cada proyecto culminó con la redacción de un informe final en formato de paper, presentado en español e inglés, siguiendo una plantilla estandarizada.

The study focused on Sustainable Development Goal 5 (SDG 5), which is aimed at achieving gender equality, with the purpose of highlighting the micro-inequalities that persist in the university environment—particularly within the teaching programs of Economics and Mathematics at the National University of Comahue. Through research that combined a literature review and anonymous digital surveys conducted among the academic community, perceptions of gender disparity were explored.
The results reveal that structural and cultural barriers remain present, and that traditional stereotypes and roles continue to shape women’s experiences. Women often feel the need to constantly prove their worth in male-dominated fields. This situation affects their sense of belonging and participation, creating discomfort when expressing themselves in spaces where they are a minority. Likewise, the study identified experiences of harassment and inequality that are often overlooked within the university setting.
The study concludes that in order to advance toward true gender equity, it is necessary to strengthen education with a gender perspective, implement effective institutional policies, and promote a collective commitment that includes the active participation of the entire university community—especially men—as a fundamental part of cultural change.

The study focused on Sustainable Development Goal 5 (SDG 5), which is aimed at achieving gender equality, with the purpose of highlighting the micro-inequalities that persist in the university environment—particularly within the teaching programs of Economics and Mathematics at the National University of Comahue. Through research that combined a literature review and anonymous digital surveys conducted among the academic community, perceptions of gender disparity were explored.
The results reveal that structural and cultural barriers remain present, and that traditional stereotypes and roles continue to shape women’s experiences. Women often feel the need to constantly prove their worth in male-dominated fields. This situation affects their sense of belonging and participation, creating discomfort when expressing themselves in spaces where they are a minority. Likewise, the study identified experiences of harassment and inequality that are often overlooked within the university setting.
The study concludes that in order to advance toward true gender equity, it is necessary to strengthen education with a gender perspective, implement effective institutional policies, and promote a collective commitment that includes the active participation of the entire university community—especially men—as a fundamental part of cultural change.

This work presents a study on the reduction of single-use plastics in a neighborhood delicatessen, based on the application of sustainable accounting principles and Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) No. 12: Responsible Consumption and Production. Using an experimental and mixed-methods approach, direct observations, interviews, and surveys were conducted with owners, employees, and customers. Additionally, intervention strategies were implemented, such as charging for plastic bags, placing informative posters, and promoting reusable bags and returnable containers. The results demonstrated that the combined measures, especially charging for plastic bags and visual awareness, significantly reduced the use of disposable materials and fostered habit changes in consumers. Furthermore, limitations related to the low acceptance of returnable containers due to hygiene concerns were identified. The present study analyzes the impact of an introductory financial education course on university students from non-economic fields of study at the Universidad Nacional del Comahue. The main objective was to evaluate whether a brief training intervention could improve the knowledge levels and financial self-perception of the participants. A quasi-experimental methodology was applied using pre and post-course surveys, employing a quantitative and descriptive approach. The sample consisted of 25 students in the initial evaluation and 22 in the final evaluation, belonging to various areas of study, mostly young people between 18 and 25 years old. The results showed a significant improvement in average scores and an increase in the self-perceived level of financial knowledge. These findings confirm the effectiveness of the course as a basic financial literacy tool, especially in populations with limited prior training in the subject. Likewise, the relevance of incorporating financial education as a transversal component in university education is highlighted, favoring informed decision-making and personal economic planning. Despite the limitations of the sample size, the study provides evidence on the need to promote inclusive and sustainable financial education programs in the academic field.

Financial literacy is vital for the academic and personal development of university students, as it directly influences their ability to manage their resources and maintain their economic stability. At the Faculty of Economics and Administration (FaEA), many students struggle to obtain reliable financial information and lack adequate knowledge in this area. The objective of this study is to provide a financial education workshop for FaEA students. This workshop will include materials tailored to their needs so they can learn to better manage their finances. A mixed-methods approach was used, combining qualitative and quantitative methods. Two surveys were conducted: one before a virtual workshop to assess students' interest and prior knowledge, and another afterward to evaluate their perception of the workshop and its usefulness. Qualitative data were analyzed using content analysis, and quantitative data using statistical methods. The results showed that prior to the workshop, students lacked a high level of financial literacy, but afterward, they were provided with tools to make wiser financial decisions. The study revealed significant interest among FaEA students in improving their financial knowledge, as they are not well-prepared to make financially informed decisions. The workshop was well-received, highlighting the importance of personal finance in the lives of individuals, particularly students.

Sustainability has become a central concern in light of the environmental, social, and economic challenges that threaten global well-being. However, its frequent use often lacks scientific precision. Morelli (2011) defines it as the condition in which human needs are met without compromising the regenerative capacity of ecosystems, emphasizing the interdependence between environmental, social, and economic systems. In higher education, universities can serve as “living laboratories” to promote sustainability and contribute to the Sustainable Development Goals (Purcell et al., 2019). Based on this premise, we conducted a quantitative study among users of the common spaces at the National University of Comahue to learn about their perspectives before and after implementing awareness interventions on the use of these spaces and to determine whether their conditions impact productivity. The results show that, after the changes were made and awareness was raised about their use, users tend to remember to care for them and therefore feel more comfortable, which in turn increases their productivity.

This research addresses the issue of single-use plastic consumption within the university environment and proposes an integrated model that combines economic, institutional, and behavioral approaches to reduce it. The study adopts a quantitative approach based on surveys administered to students, faculty, and administrative staff at the National University of Comahue, particularly within the Faculty of Economics and Administration. Its aim is to identify consumption habits, levels of environmental awareness, and willingness to change.
The results reveal a high level of concern about the environmental impact of plastics and a positive attitude toward adopting sustainable practices, although structural barriers—such as the lack of adequate infrastructure and the persistence of ingrained habits—remain. It is concluded that effectively reducing single-use plastics requires coordination among environmental education, institutional policies, and material resources that facilitate everyday sustainable actions.

Organic waste management has become a global challenge in light of population growth, urbanization, and the need to move toward circular economy models. Approximately 50% of the waste generated worldwide consists of organic matter. In this context, composting emerges as a sustainable alternative that allows waste recovery, reduces dependence on chemical fertilizers, and generates environmental, social, and economic benefits. Based on this, we set out to promote the implementation of a composting system at the Faculty of Economics and Administration located in the city of Neuquén (FAEA), considering this practice feasible due to the amount of organic waste produced. In addition, we observed a strong willingness from the university community, as shown in the results section. Furthermore, we intend for this work to serve as a foundation for future research and the implementation of similar practices in academic settings.

Durante el año 2025, la Cátedra de Inglés de la Facultad de Economía, a cargo de la profesora María Belén Martínez del Departamento de Idiomas con Propósitos Específicos, desarrolló un trabajo basado en proyectos. A lo largo del cursado, los estudiantes llevaron adelante proyectos de investigación–servicio en los que articularon sus saberes de inglés con los contenidos propios de sus carreras y con la resolución de problemáticas reales de la comunidad. El proceso incluyó la lectura y el análisis de textos académicos en inglés para la elaboración del marco teórico, la selección de un problema relevante, el diseño e implementación de una metodología de investigación, y la comparación de resultados con los aportes de autores especializados. Cada proyecto culminó con la redacción de un informe final en formato de paper, presentado en español e inglés, siguiendo una plantilla estandarizada.

Artificial Intelligence (AI), including machine learning and Robotic Process Automation (RPA), is transforming the accounting industry by automating routine tasks. This study aimed to demonstrate that the strategic implementation of OCR and RPA achieves superior efficiency in addressing a key labor constraint: manual invoice processing. A quantitative, applied, and experimental approach was used, comparing manual processing with an automated solution and supplemented by a survey of accounting professionals. The empirical results demonstrated significant improvements in operational efficiency and time optimization. This approach validates the Theory of Constraints (TOC), demonstrating that eliminating bottlenecks generates disproportionate gains, which is crucial to overcoming the productivity paradox. Time savings were highlighted as the main benefit expected by 100% of respondents. The limitations of the study (small sample size and use of freemium features) highlight the “Jagged Frontier,” where partial implementations may require significant human intervention. AI is driving the redefinition of the accountant's role toward strategic functions, making it imperative to address essential skill gaps in the ethical use of AI and integration with existing systems.

A summary of the resource.
This report seeks to illustrate the importance of financial education, saving, and marketing for people who intend to start a business or are already doing so. A course on financial education and marketing was held for 20 people (completed by 15, which shows us that most people were interested and acquired the concepts presented). It is a course for beginners in topics related to entrepreneurship. Participants were provided with three modules and the respective mandatory and evaluative surveys to measure the scope of the knowledge acquired. The objective was to disseminate practical knowledge about the creation of a microenterprise and to provide tools to help with this purpose. At the beginning of the survey, participants had an average level of financial knowledge, and after completing the course, most participants agreed that it would be significantly useful in their daily lives thanks to the knowledge and tools they acquired.

This article aims to analyze the factors influencing employee turnover in small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in the city of Neuquén and to assess the impact of flexible work strategies on talent retention. The study is grounded in the Conservation of Resources and Self-Determination theories, which posit that the availability of psychological and organizational resources directly affects employees' willingness to remain in their jobs. Using a mixed-methods design combining surveys and participant observation, the perceptions of 35 employees from three local SMEs were explored. The findings indicate that flexibility practices and empathetic leadership foster work-life balance and strengthen organizational commitment. This study contributes to the literature on human resource management in SMEs and offers practical guidelines for promoting sustainable work environments in local contexts. Furthermore, it confirms that even simple interventions, such as flexible arrival times or active breaks, can have significant effects on employees' intention to stay, reinforcing the value of symbolic and accessible strategies.

This research addresses the importance of promoting youth entrepreneurship from early stages through training in digital tools applied to the development of productive projects. The study is linked to Sustainable Development Goal No. 9 (Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure), highlighting the role of digital education as a foundation for creating innovative and resilient future entrepreneurs.
Using a mixed-method approach, practical workshops were implemented on Excel, Google Workspace, Canva, and basic e-commerce platforms, aimed at high school students in the city of Neuquén. Preliminary results show a strong interest among young participants in applying these tools to simulate entrepreneurial projects and to develop key digital skills for their future professional growth.

Decoding flexibility: impact of an educational intervention on the perception of labor precarity in high school students

The study analyzes the impact of an educational intervention on the platform economy in 3rd-year EPET N°14 students. The research, with a descriptive-quantitative approach, used pre- and post-intervention surveys (N=20 and N=15) to evaluate the change in knowledge about labor rights, the monotributo (simplified tax regime), and the risks of working on digital platforms. Pre-test results showed high confusion: only 45% recognized basic labor rights, and 90% felt unprepared to understand a contract. After the workshop, knowledge improved significantly: 93.3% correctly identified the transfer of responsibility from the app to the worker and understood that the delivery person assumes their own expenses in case of accidents. Furthermore, self-perception of preparedness exceeded 93%.
The intervention was highly effective, allowing young people to question the "flexibility" discourse of the platform economy and recognize the precarity and externalization of risks it implies.
