<p style="text-align: justify;">En este trabajo se analizan las propiedades temáticas y eventivas de las semi-cópulas quedar y quedarse. Se demuestra que no son dos ítems lexicales separados sino una raíz cuyo contexto sintáctico impone distintas estructuras temáticas y eventivas. Basados en la clasificación aspectual de Vendler (1967) y de Pustejovsky (1995), se ofrece una descripción aspectual de la semi-cópula y se demuestra que puede aparecer tanto en construcciones estativas como en transicionales. en ambos casos, puede aparecer el clítico se, el cual se relaciona con la noción de causa interna (Levin y Rappaport Hovav 1995). Para el análisis se recurre a la propuesta de Travis (2005), que postula la articulación de las vPs. este trabajo se inscribe en las propuestas sintactistas debido a que desde una perspectiva lexicalista, se perdería la posibilidad de capturar y explicar generalizaciones en términos de la estructura sintáctica, en especial, de la estructura funcional/eventiva como responsable de la estructura temática.<br /><br />Abstract<br /><br />In this research work different thematic and aspectual properties of the semi-copula quedar and quedarse are analysed. It is shown that they are not two different and separate lexical items but only one root whose syntactic context imposes thematic and eventive structures. Using Vendler´s (1967) and Pustejovsky´s (1995) aspectual classification of predicates, a description is given of the aspectual possibilities of the semi-copula showing that it can appear both in locative and in transitional structures. The clitic se can appear in both cases, the claim being that it is related to the notion of internal cause (Levin y Rappaport Hovav 1995). as regards the analysis, Travis´s proposal (2005) of articulated vPs has been used. It is worth noting that this work offers a syntactic proposal as a lexical perspective would not allow to capture syntactic generalization in terms of syntactic structure, especially, the functional /eventive structure which is responsible of thematic structure.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">Debate about the acquisition of unaccusative verbs has centered on whether the structural properties of unaccusative verbs are known or if all intransitive verbs are treated as unergatives initially in different languages (Montrul 2005; Oshita 2001; Sorace 2000; Zobl 1989; among others). Within the Reasearch Project “Estructuras tempranas y tardías en Español como Lengua Materna” (J014) we have studied the acquisition of passive and unaccusative structures both in Spanish as an L1 and in English as an L2. The present study intends to show that L2 Spanish learners know the grammatical properties of unaccusative verbs and treat them as such. To this purpose in mind, an experiment of delayed repetition of a series of 11 pictures contained in a short story was carried out. The searcher told it to 5 adult students at Leiden University who have been learning Spanish for an average of 4 1/2 years (4 to 10 years). The results show that in all cases the subjects followed a constant pattern of response: they produced the expected verbs correctly and the difficulties evinced are of two types: lack of knowledge of the lexical item (verb) they had to use to describe the picture and the causativisation of some unaccusative verbs which are not compatible with this construction. These data seem to indicate that overall these learners know the structural properties of unaccusative verbs and the use of the clitic se with particular verbs – aparecer and nacer- is the syntactic reflex that shows the learners’ attempt to morphologically mark unaccusativity. Thus, to correct these errors, learners need more time to sharpen their knowledge of the specific idiosyncratic properties of certain verbs of different subclasses within the unaccusative class.</p>

<p>¿Por qué surge este libro? ¡A lingüistiquearla! es un libro que surge de las inquietudes de un grupo de docentes investigadores de la Universidad Nacional del Comahue, reunidos en el proyecto de investigación “Las categorías funcionales: un abordaje en términos de adquisición y variación”, de la Facultad de Lenguas. Este proyecto, conocido como el J022, se desarrolló entre el año 2014 y el año 2017 y se centró en diferentes aspectos relacionados con la adquisición de lenguas y la variación lingüística desde una perspectiva formal. A lo largo de estas páginas nos detendremos en revisar qué significa abordar las lenguas y el lenguaje desde una perspectiva formal y también en definir las diferentes discusiones que se desprenden de esto. ¿Por qué mostrar nuestra investigación de esta manera? Este libro es la oportunidad de salir de “nuestra cueva”, de mostrarles a nuestros lectores que se pueden “sumergir” en el estudio de la lingüística y salir airosos. El intento de plasmar temas complejos de forma clara y sencilla tiene la finalidad de lograr que el lector no abandone lalectura –valga la redundancia–, en cuanto se “tope” con terminología demasiado específica, técnica o difícil de entender. Es como disfrazar el brócoli. Seguramente a un niño no le gusta ese tipo de verdura, pero si lo mezclás con otros sabores la irá comiendo de a poco. Parte de esto es compartir “nuestro gusto por el brócoli”.</p>

¿Por qué surge este libro? ¡A lingüistiquearla! es un libro que surge de las inquietudes de un grupo de docentes investigadores de la Universidad Nacional del Comahue, reunidos en el proyecto de investigación “Las categorías funcionales: un abordaje en términos de adquisición y variación”, de la Facultad de Lenguas. Este proyecto, conocido como el J022, se desarrolló entre el año 2014 y el año 2017 y se centró en diferentes aspectos relacionados con la adquisición de lenguas y la variación lingüística desde una perspectiva formal. <p><em>Introducción</em><br />A mediados de los noventa la Facultad de Lenguas conforma un grupo de investigación que busca explicar la adquisición de ciertos aspectos del español como lengua materna (L1) desde el marco de la Gramática Generativa (GG) (Chomsky 1965, 1981, 1986, 1995). En 2014, para investigar ciertas características presentes en la interlengua (IL) de aprendientes de inglés como lengua extranjera (ILE) y sus implicancias para la enseñanza, el proyecto original se divide en dos, uno de las cuales adopta otro marco teórico (Wray 2002). Este trabajo presenta los diferentes aspectos analizados desde 1996 a la fecha: léxico, estructuras pasivas e inacusativas. Los datos se obtuvieron mediante diseños experimentales de comprensión y producción y la recolección de las estructuras estudiadas en corpus para L1, ILE y español como lengua extranjera (ELE).</p>
