<p align="justify">Dentro de la enseñanza y aprendizaje de vocabulario en el contexto de ILE, las secuencias formulaicas (SSFF) (Wray, 2002) cumplen un rol fundamental en el desarrollo y fortalecimiento de la competencia comunicativa. Las SSFF son parte integral de la lengua en un contexto determinado y su uso proporciona una forma más natural y auténtica de comunicarse en ILE (Lindstromberg & Boers, 2008, Conklin, 2020). Sin embargo, para estos aprendientes, su incorporación se convierte en un desafío considerando el contacto limitado con la lengua. Es por ello que surge la necesidad de adoptar un enfoque explícito de enseñanza y aprendizaje de vocabulario basado en SSFF (Lindstromberg & Boers, 2008, Thornbury, 2019, Boers, 2020) que promueva el reconocimiento, recuperación y uso espontáneo de las mismas (Nation, 2001) en pos de una comunicación natural eficiente. <br />El objetivo de este trabajo es realizar un análisis preliminar de las percepciones registradas en las bitácoras de una docente de inglés a cargo de dos grupos de 12 y 18 estudiantes respectivamente, de nivel de proficiencia elemental (MCER), de una escuela estatal primaria de la provincia de Río Negro, sobre una propuesta didáctica basada en una canción y una leyenda en inglés para la enseñanza explícita de 13 SSFF. La docente utilizó dos bitácoras, una para cada grupo, que completó durante el ciclo lectivo 2023 e informó a través de un audio o mensaje de Whatsapp. Para cada una de estas entradas, se le propuso a la docente reflexionar sobre el funcionamiento de la propuesta didáctica, la reacción de sus estudiantes y la identificación de dificultades además de la explicitación de las tareas completadas hasta ese momento. En total, se documentaron 12 entradas para cada grupo, las cuales fueron utilizadas para rastrear y examinar sus apreciaciones en relación al efecto general de la propuesta diseñada y desprender información valiosa para el diseño de posibles secuencias didácticas para la enseñanza de SFs para aprendices de ILE o cualquier otra lengua del nivel primario.</p>

<p align="justify">Este trabajo se inscribe en el marco del Proyecto de Investigación “Diferencias y puntos de contacto entre el discurso didáctico oral y el escrito en francés e inglés y su vinculación con la enseñanza de lenguas extranjeras”. Presentamos un estudio descriptivo y exploratorio de ciertas rutinas lingüísticas o fraseológicas que figuran en el discurso científico-académico pedagógico oral, particularmente en los géneros clase magistral y conferencia en el idioma francés. A nivel formal, estas construcciones constituyen enunciados recurrentes, a nivel semántico, cumplen diferentes funciones. Para tal fin hemos conformado un corpus de tres clases magistrales y cuatro conferencias en idioma francés, tomando como marco teórico de referencia el análisis multidimensional de Ciapuscio y Kugel (2002).</p>
<strong>Summary<br /></strong>
<p align="justify">This paper is part of the Research Project “Differences and contact points between oral didactic and written discourse in French and English and its relationship with the teaching of foreign languages”. We present a descriptive and exploratory study of cer-tain linguistic or phraseological routines that are present in the scientific-academic, peda-gogic, oral discourse, particularly in the following genres: master class and lectures in the French language. At a formal level, these constructions constitute recurrent statements Revue de la SAPFESU · Año XXXVIII, Número 43, 2020 · [62-72]63that at a semantic level fulfill different functions. Therefore, we have gathered a corpus of three master classes and four lectures in the French language. We have adopted as a reference theoretical framework the multidimensional approach by Ciapuscio and Kugel (2002).</p>

Rescatando conocimientos y prácticas: proyecto interdisciplinar

<p align="justify">A partir de la teoría, la participación en la capacitación y que varios somos docentes de una escuela intercultural, nos pareció muy rico para nuestra práctica pedagógica seleccionar el núcleo temático de Saberes Ancestrales, siendo una propuesta situada y contextualizada. Es una necesidad dentro del contexto educativo abordar estos contenidos de manera transversal, por ello, nuestras propuestas serán de interés para los estudiantes, comenzando por reconocer las plantas autóctonas, de nuestra zona, línea sur de Río Negro, la importancia que nuestros antiguos pobladores le daban a las mismas, recuperar esos conocimientos tradicionales y ancestrales, enriqueciendo el conocimiento mutuo por medio del diálogo. Queremos con esta propuesta también, que cada uno tome conciencia y multiplique los aprendizajes y sean transmisores de lo que recuperamos como comunidad. Los saberes ancestrales abarcan una variedad de conocimientos y técnicas por lo que la propuesta nuestra es interdisciplinar, donde podemos involucrar las diferentes áreas, desarrollar contenidos, partiendo de la recopilación de información de algunos pobladores a partir de la realización de charlas, visitas.</p>

The study at CPEM No. 21 on school dropout in the 3rd year evening program reveals a multi-causal problem that intertwines socioeconomic, family, and emotional factors. The main risk causes are the need to prioritize work, family problems, and overlapping schedules. Despite 100% of students wishing to finish their studies, the biggest perceived barrier is not academic difficulty, but the lack of psychological well-being, emotional containment, and listening on the part of the institution (stress, anxiety). The initial intervention of a motivational talk proved to be effective, reducing absences and improving performance. Furthermore, the students' marked tendency towards an internal locus of control (71% and 86%) is a strength, as they feel responsible for their results. Recommendations focus on creating permanent spaces for emotional support and listening, teacher training in soft skills, and exploring flexible schedules for working students, seeking a more comprehensive approach to school retention.

Despite 100% of students wishing to finish their studies, the biggest perceived barrier is not academic difficulty, but the lack of psychological well-being, emotional containment, and listening on the part of the institution (stress, anxiety). The initial intervention of a motivational talk proved to be effective, reducing absences and improving performance. Furthermore, the students' marked tendency towards an internal locus of control (71% and 86%) is a strength, as they feel responsible for their results. Recommendations focus on creating permanent spaces for emotional support and listening, teacher training in soft skills, and exploring flexible schedules for working students, seeking a more comprehensive approach to school retention.

Durante el año 2025, la Cátedra de Inglés de la Facultad de Economía, a cargo de la profesora María Belén Martínez del Departamento de Idiomas con Propósitos Específicos, desarrolló un trabajo basado en proyectos. A lo largo del cursado, los estudiantes llevaron adelante proyectos de investigación–servicio en los que articularon sus saberes de inglés con los contenidos propios de sus carreras y con la resolución de problemáticas reales de la comunidad. El proceso incluyó la lectura y el análisis de textos académicos en inglés para la elaboración del marco teórico, la selección de un problema relevante, el diseño e implementación de una metodología de investigación, y la comparación de resultados con los aportes de autores especializados. Cada proyecto culminó con la redacción de un informe final en formato de paper, presentado en español e inglés, siguiendo una plantilla estandarizada.

<p><em>Abstract</em><br />The Swansea Levels Test was administered to 33 university EFL students and 12 primary school learners of English. We also analysed their performance in a comprehension task and an elicited production task involving passive constructions and unaccusative verbs. Some subjects scored high in the vocabulary test and in the tasks, while others revealed an inverse relation between vocabulary knowledge and task performance. This paper presents the pros and cons of this vocabulary test to predict second language proficiency.</p>

En la corriente británica y estadounidense de estudios de diversas variedades del inglés, la lingüística de corpus (LC) ha acumulado numerosos volúmenes tales como Sinclair (1991), O’Keefe & McCarthy (2010) o McEnery & Hardie (2012), por mencionar sólo algunos, que les han permitido a los estudiosos del campo de la lingüística, investigar, de la mano de la informatización y el desarrollo de las ciencias de la computación, diferentes aspectos del lenguaje en uso en clave empírica. Introducción a la lingüística de corpus en español del reconocido lingüista Guillermo Rojo (GR de aquí en más) viene a cubrir la necesidad de contar con un número mayor de manuales introductorios que discutan temas transversales de la LC en la tradición hispanoparlante. Sin embargo, aquello que resulta novedoso desde un punto de vista de vacancia en la literatura de LC en español podría resultar limitado para expertos en la materia especializados en otras lenguas, debido a que esta obra se centra en el español.

<p align="justify"><span style="color: #000000;"><span style="font-family: Times New Roman, serif;">Legends and myths serve as effective tools for English as a Foreign Language (EFL) learners not only to reflect upon moral values and cultivate their cultural awareness, but also to gain insight into formulaic language (Lindstromberg & Boers, 2008). The recognition and use of formulaic sequences or chunks allow them to enhance their productive and receptive skills. However, these learners usually struggle to develop their formulaic competence, especially if their teachers rely on a word-focused vocabulary teaching approach heavily. This paper presents some useful guidelines for crafting lesson plans based on legends and myths, designed for explicitly teaching formulaic sequences to young learners. </span></span></p>

<p text="" align="justify">Nació en 1811 en San Juan, Provincias Unidas del Río de la Plata. En 1835, bajo la dictadura de Juan Manuel de Rosas, viajó a Chile como exiliado. En ese país trabajó como periodista y profesor, y fue allí donde publicó <i>Facundo</i>, <i>civilización y barbarie</i>. El gobierno chileno lo envió a Europa y Estados Unidos para estudiar sus sistemas educativos. Escribió su proyecto de educación pública, gratuita y laica y volvió al territorio nacional cuando cayó el gobierno de Rosas.</p>
<p text="" align="justify">Además de ser escritor, hizo las veces de traductor. Junto a Mansilla tradujo <i>París en América </i>(de Renato Lafebvre, 1863), título que años después apareció en La Biblioteca de la Nación. También tradujo algunas obras religiosas y morales (<i>Vida de Jesucristo</i> y <i>Conciencia de un niño</i>).</p>

“The Mate Teachers” project, developed at the School of Informatics of the Universidad Nacional del Comahue, aligns with SDG 10 on reducing inequalities and aims to improve the academic and emotional adaptation of first-year students in the subject Elements of Algebra. The study aimed to analyze the impact of a mixed —digital and face-to-face— mentoring system designed to strengthen learning and institutional belonging. This research is particularly relevant as it addresses a critical stage of university life where differences in study habits and self-confidence often deepen educational gaps. A mixed-method, descriptive, and exploratory approach was adopted, including Instagram surveys, analysis of Discord interactions, and in-person observations. Results show that although digital participation was limited, the inclusion of in-person spaces increased interaction, improved students’ self-perception of exam preparation, and supported academic continuity. In conclusion, the experience demonstrates that teaching mathematics from a humanistic and critical perspective does not mean abandoning rigor, but rather re-signifying it to promote inclusion, collaboration, and equity in the early years of university education.

Durante el año 2025, la Cátedra de Inglés de la Facultad de Economía, a cargo de la profesora María Belén Martínez del Departamento de Idiomas con Propósitos Específicos, desarrolló un trabajo basado en proyectos. A lo largo del cursado, los estudiantes llevaron adelante proyectos de investigación–servicio en los que articularon sus saberes de inglés con los contenidos propios de sus carreras y con la resolución de problemáticas reales de la comunidad. El proceso incluyó la lectura y el análisis de textos académicos en inglés para la elaboración del marco teórico, la selección de un problema relevante, el diseño e implementación de una metodología de investigación, y la comparación de resultados con los aportes de autores especializados. Cada proyecto culminó con la redacción de un informe final en formato de paper, presentado en español e inglés, siguiendo una plantilla estandarizada.

<p style="text-align: justify;">Debate about the acquisition of unaccusative verbs has centered on whether the structural properties of unaccusative verbs are known or if all intransitive verbs are treated as unergatives initially in different languages (Montrul 2005; Oshita 2001; Sorace 2000; Zobl 1989; among others). Within the Reasearch Project “Estructuras tempranas y tardías en Español como Lengua Materna” (J014) we have studied the acquisition of passive and unaccusative structures both in Spanish as an L1 and in English as an L2. The present study intends to show that L2 Spanish learners know the grammatical properties of unaccusative verbs and treat them as such. To this purpose in mind, an experiment of delayed repetition of a series of 11 pictures contained in a short story was carried out. The searcher told it to 5 adult students at Leiden University who have been learning Spanish for an average of 4 1/2 years (4 to 10 years). The results show that in all cases the subjects followed a constant pattern of response: they produced the expected verbs correctly and the difficulties evinced are of two types: lack of knowledge of the lexical item (verb) they had to use to describe the picture and the causativisation of some unaccusative verbs which are not compatible with this construction. These data seem to indicate that overall these learners know the structural properties of unaccusative verbs and the use of the clitic se with particular verbs – aparecer and nacer- is the syntactic reflex that shows the learners’ attempt to morphologically mark unaccusativity. Thus, to correct these errors, learners need more time to sharpen their knowledge of the specific idiosyncratic properties of certain verbs of different subclasses within the unaccusative class.</p>

<p text="" align="justify">El objeto de este trabajo es la traducción de una colección de diversos poemas del autor inglés de ascendencia jamaiquina Benjamin Zephaniah. Sus poemas me resultaron muy interesantes por la forma en la que están escritos, ya que se hace uso del inglés criollo jamaiquino, al mismo nivel que el inglés estándar. En otras palabras, no hay ningún tipo de marca tipográfica que señale que una expresión o estructura sintáctica no es propia del inglés estándar. Esto supuso una dificultad de traducción, al igual que la escritura no convencional de ciertos vocablos. Esta escritura no convencional se debe a la dislexia que padece el escritor, la cual le facilita “escribir las palabras como se dicen más que como se leen en los libros” (Brockes, 2014). Otros aspectos interesantes son los patrones métricos y de rima irregulares y los términos propios de la cultura de origen.<br />El presente trabajo consta de las siguientes partes: una biografía del autor; una descripción del género al que corresponde el texto base; un análisis formal y sociopolítico de los textos; las estrategias para traducir poesía y la traducción de textos en dialecto; el concepto de polisistema y su utilidad para la práctica traductora; el texto base y su traducción, precedidos de un breve prólogo donde explico a rasgos generales mis decisiones respecto del léxico y las estructuras sintácticas; un registro de los problemas y dificultades encontrados y las soluciones adoptadas. Por último, a continuación de las referencias, se incluye un anexo donde aparecen transcriptos los intercambios que tuve con el autor para resolver algunas dificultades puntuales. </p>

En este trabajo nos centramos en la tercera orientación. Nos proponemos estudiar el efecto de la selección tonal en la organización de la información para la construcción de discurso en el español. Buscamos analizar de qué manera los participantes de una conversación organizan el discurso para señalar dependencia, coherencia, y continuidad.

A través del relato de un cuento, se compararon las oraciones declarativas conclusivas y no conclusivas del inglés como L1 y L2 a la luz del modelo Métrico-Autosegmental propuesto por Pierrehumbert (1980), para analizar los distintos contornos entonativos, y de la Teoría de la Relevancia (Sperber y Wilson 1995, 2004), para examinar el correlato pragmático. Los datos se procesaron teniendo en cuenta el inventario propuesto por Beckman y Hirshberg (1994), Beckman y Ayers (1993), Ladd (1996) y un curso en línea del MIT (Massachusetts Institute of Technology) para el sistema de transcripción ToBI (Tone and Break Indeces) utilizando el software PRAAT (Boersma y Weenink 2010). Con el fin de indicar conclusión, las dos variantes del inglés optaron en su mayoría por la configuración H* L% y L* L%. Para suspender la evaluación de un enunciado, los hablantes de inglés como L1 produjeron mayormente las configuraciones L+H* L-H% y L+H* !H%, mientras que en inglés como L2 la configuración más frecuente fue L+H* H%. Asimismo, se observaron diferencias en los tonos ascendentes en relación a la altura tonal y se obtuvo evidencia de la influencia de la lengua materna -español de la Patagonia- en el grupo de inglés como L2. Finalmente, se describen posibles implicancias metodológicas para la enseñanza de la entonación del inglés como L2.

<p style="text-align: justify;">En este trabajo se analizan las propiedades temáticas y eventivas de las semi-cópulas quedar y quedarse. Se demuestra que no son dos ítems lexicales separados sino una raíz cuyo contexto sintáctico impone distintas estructuras temáticas y eventivas. Basados en la clasificación aspectual de Vendler (1967) y de Pustejovsky (1995), se ofrece una descripción aspectual de la semi-cópula y se demuestra que puede aparecer tanto en construcciones estativas como en transicionales. en ambos casos, puede aparecer el clítico se, el cual se relaciona con la noción de causa interna (Levin y Rappaport Hovav 1995). Para el análisis se recurre a la propuesta de Travis (2005), que postula la articulación de las vPs. este trabajo se inscribe en las propuestas sintactistas debido a que desde una perspectiva lexicalista, se perdería la posibilidad de capturar y explicar generalizaciones en términos de la estructura sintáctica, en especial, de la estructura funcional/eventiva como responsable de la estructura temática.<br /><br />Abstract<br /><br />In this research work different thematic and aspectual properties of the semi-copula quedar and quedarse are analysed. It is shown that they are not two different and separate lexical items but only one root whose syntactic context imposes thematic and eventive structures. Using Vendler´s (1967) and Pustejovsky´s (1995) aspectual classification of predicates, a description is given of the aspectual possibilities of the semi-copula showing that it can appear both in locative and in transitional structures. The clitic se can appear in both cases, the claim being that it is related to the notion of internal cause (Levin y Rappaport Hovav 1995). as regards the analysis, Travis´s proposal (2005) of articulated vPs has been used. It is worth noting that this work offers a syntactic proposal as a lexical perspective would not allow to capture syntactic generalization in terms of syntactic structure, especially, the functional /eventive structure which is responsible of thematic structure.</p>
