Abstract
A summary of the resource.
<p align="justify">Ce travail s´attache à présenter un corpus du lexique culinaire français, une étude exploratoire et descriptive d´unités lexicales que figurent fréquemment dans le domaine de la gastronomie. Ce lexique culinaire, marqué par sa variété terminologique et sa charge culturelle, est envisagé par deux perspectives, linguistique et culturelle, c´est-à-dire deux dimensions complémentaires. Du point de vue linguistique, le lexique culinaire se caractérise par sa précision et sa richesse. Du point de vue culturel, certaines expressions sont motivées par des faits historiques, par des us et coutumes d´une société. Cette étude représente un repérage qui tente de trouver des régularités dans le lexique culinaire et permettra aux enseignants du FOS en gastronomie d´enrichir sa compétence lexicale pour l´élaboration d´une transposition didactique.</p>

<p align="justify">Con el fin de estudiar el fenómeno de la retracción acentual en el inglés como segunda lengua (L2), en la presente investigación se lleva a cabo un análisis acústico de la duración, la intensidad y la frecuencia fundamental. Las mediciones incluyen casos con presencia y ausencia de choque acentual y casos de palabras con acento retraíble y no retraíble. Se computan datos obtenidos de manera experimental con aprendientes de inglés en contexto de instrucción formal y, con el fin de establecer un punto de comparación, con hablantes nativos del inglés estándar de Inglaterra. Teniendo en cuenta que los resultados indican que los hablantes nativos reflejan la retracción acentual (específicamente en términos de intensidad y altura tonal), los valores acústicos de los aprendientes de inglés no presentan el mismo comportamiento, ya que no hay evidencia robusta de desplazamiento de acento en palabras con acento retraíble. Los únicos aprendientes que realzan en alguna medida las sílabas inacentuadas son los del nivel intermedio, posiblemente debido a su instrucción reciente en fonética y fonología inglesa.</p>

Un factor clave en un aprendizaje autorregulado es poder desarrollar y aplicar estrategias adecuadas según el objetivo propuesto. Esto a su vez, se ve influenciado de manera directa por mecanismos relacionados con la motivación. El presente trabajo tiene como propósito revisar los conceptos teóricos detrás de cada uno de estos factores - autorregulación, estrategias, y motivación para luego describir la forma en que se interrelacionan e intervienen en todo proceso de aprendizaje.</p>

<p align="justify">Este trabajo tiene por objetivo explorar los sintagmas nominales que en ingles presentan [a estructura superficial [A + N + N"] (adjetivo * sustantivo + sustantivo núcleo), y que suelen presentar dificultades de interpretación a los estudiantes lectores en inglés como lengua extranjera. Estos sintagmas pueden dar lugar a dos lecturas: [A + [N + N']l en la que el adjetivo tiene alcance sobre el constituyente formado por el núcleo y el sustantivo a su izquierda (por ej. high poverü levels: altos niveles de pobreza), y [[A + N] + Nº en la que el sustantivo núcleo está modificado o es complementado por el constituyente formado por el sustantivo de la izquierda y el adjetivo (por ej. nafural resources research: investigación sobre recursos naturales). Propondremos que las diferencias de interpretación surgen de la naturaleza no solo del adjetivo sino de cada uno los dos nombres presentes con la frase, e intentaremos específicamente explicar las lecturas que se generan cuando el adjetivo presente es de tipo relacional.</p>

<p align="justify">El objetivo de este trabajo es establecer un vínculo entre el análisis semántico propuesto por la Teoría de la Argumentación en la Lengua (Anscombre y Ducrot 1983. Anscombre 1995, Ducrot 1998) y algunos problemas frecuentes en la enseñanza de la lectura en lengua extranjera (en este caso en inglés) que dicen relación, específicamente, con el uso de conectores discursivos. Para tal propósito, se presentará, en una primera parte, el marco teórico en el cual se enmarca este trabajo y. en la segunda parte, el análisis propuesto para comparar los usos de but en textos técnicos del área de las ciencias agrarias y sus interpretaciones en español.</p>

<p align="justify">En los últimos años, la Gramática Generativa ha intentado incorporar el aspecto a una teoría semántica general. Entre otros temas, se ha discutido cómo incluir la información aspectual en la entrada léxica de los predicados. Si bien existen numerosos trabajos sobre los adjetivos y los participios en el castellano, no parece suceder lo mismo, hasta donde sabemos, en inglés. El objetivo del presente estudio es comprobar la relación existente entre el aspecto y la posición de los modificadores en la frase nominal en inglés. A tal efecto, se recurrirá a la teoría de los eventos y a la clasificación de los predicados en los de nivel episódico y los de nivel individual. Nuestra conclusión es que, en inglés, solo los primeros son postnominales y manifiestan el aspecto, determinado por la existencia del argumento davidsoniano.</p>

<p align="justify">Este trabajo tiene como objetivo central caracterizar el discurso académico oral en videos didácticos en inglés. Definimos al video didáctico como el material audiovisual elaborado por especialistas de un campo disciplinar con fines de enseñanza y difundido a través de Internet. En este trabajo se analizará un corpus de cuatro videos en inglés sobre temas específicos de Ingeniería. El estudio se centra en el discurso oral académico y contempla, por un lado, una descripción del video didáctico desde la perspectiva del análisis de género discursivo y, por otro lado una descripción y análisis de los recursos lingüísticos que los caracterizan, en particular con relación a las estrategias didácticas del docente.<br /><br /><strong>Abstract</strong><br />The aim of this study is to describe oral academic discourse on the basis of the analysis of educational videos in English. Educational videos can be defined as audiovisual materials specially designed by an expert on a given disciplinary field, which are intended to teach a specific topic and which are published on the Internet. Four educational videos related to specific engineering topics were selected and analyzed. This study focuses on oral academic discourse and it includes not only the description of educational videos in terms of genre analysis, but also an analysis and discussion of the linguistic resources typically selected in this kind of oral production.</p>

<p align="justify">En este trabajo se analizan las características prosódicas del habla espontánea condicionada por el tipo de práctica discursiva. Se compara el habla en dos prácticas discursivas distintas llevadas a cabo por un mismo hablante, una conferencia y una entrevista, ambas vinculadas con la divulgación científica de un mismo tema. Se analiza la prosodia como un fenómeno de interfaz entre la fonología entonativa y la pragmática: las configuraciones tonales nucleares y el fraseo en relación con su significado pragmático. Se tiene en cuenta cómo la entonación codifica la información de fondo o de primer plano y cómo codifica su procesamiento. Los resultados indican que existen diferencias con respecto al fraseo y a la frecuencia de ciertas configuraciones tonales. Se explican estas diferencias por medio de las características contextuales propias de cada práctica discursiva. Específicamente, se tiene en cuenta el grado de accesibilidad de los enunciados y la posibilidad de reparación comunicativa. De este modo, se sientan las bases para extender el análisis a otras situaciones comunicativas con diferentes participantes y modos de organización del discurso.<br /><br /> <strong>Abstract</strong><br />This paper analyses the prosodic characteristics of spontaneous speech as conditioned by the type of discourse practice. Speech is compared in two different types of discour-se by the same speaker, a conference and an interview, both related to popular science presentations on the same topic. Prosody is analysed at the prosody-pragmatics interface: nuclear tone configurations and phrasing in relation to their pragmatic meaning. In this line, intonation is studied in terms of the coding and processing of foreground and back-ground information. Results show that there are differences in relation to phrasing and the frequency of occurrence of certain tonal configurations. These differences are explai-ned taking into account the specific contextual characteristics of each discourse practice. Specifically, the degree of accessibility and the possibility of communicative repairs are considered. The findings pave the way for further research into other communicative si-tuations with different speakers and different modes of discourse organisation.</p>

<p align="justify">El presente trabajo se inscribe en el marco del Proyecto de Investigación “Diferencias y puntos de contacto entre el discurso didáctico oral y el escrito en francés e inglés y su vinculación con la enseñanza de lenguas extranjeras”. Dicho estudio se focaliza en la clase magistral (en adelante CM) como género del discurso científico-académico oral en lengua extranjera. La CM constituye un discurso pedagógico, inscripto en un contexto institucional dirigido a un público asimétrico, cuya función es transmitir conocimientos. Para su estudio exploratorio y descriptivo hemos constituido un corpus de tres CM en video online que versan sobre diversas temáticas del área humanística. Tomamos como punto de referencia para su caracterización el modelo multidimensional de Ciapuscio y Kugel (2002) que propone cuatro niveles de análisis de géneros. Los resultados de este trabajo nos permitirán caracterizar los diferentes matices que presenta la CM en lengua francesa para luego diseñar un enfoque didáctico adaptado a la enseñanza del Francés con Objetivos Universitarios (FOU).<br /><br /><strong>Abstract</strong><br />The present work falls within the framework of the Research Project «Differences and contact points between oral and written didactic discourse in French and English and its link with the teaching of foreign languages». This study focuses on the master class<br />(hereinafter CM) as a genre of oral scientific-academic discourse in a foreign language. The CM is a pedagogical discourse, registered in an institutional context aimed at an asymmetric public whose function is to transmit knowledge. For its exploratory and descriptive study we have constituted a corpus of three CM in online video that deal with various<br />themes of the humanistic area. We take as a point of reference for its characterization the multidimensional model of Ciapuscio and Kugel (2002) that proposes four levels of gender analysis. The results of this work will allow us to characterize the different nuances that the CM presents in French language and then design a didactic approach adapted to the teaching of French with University Objectives (FUO).</p>

Los estudios de lingüística de corpus de lenguaje en uso en diversos idiomas señalan la necesidad de un cambio de perspectiva con respecto al léxico ya no como un reservorio de palabras individuales sino como un repertorio de frases pre-fabricadas que los hablantes almacenan en su memoria. Entre estas frases se encuentran las secuencias formulaicas (Wray 2002), también denominadas “unidades equivalentes de morfemas” (Wray 2008), que constituyen unidades de significado recuperadas de la memoria como un todo, que sufren pocas modificaciones y no se generan de manera creativa. Diversos autores han demostrado que la didáctica de las lenguas extranjeras, por lo tanto, debe reflejar esta concepción del lenguaje de manera tal de garantizar una adquisición gradual y desde etapas tempranas de este lenguaje formulaico que permite a los hablantes comunicar significados de manera fluida y eficiente. Se sugiere un abordaje a la enseñanza del vocabulario en una lengua extranjera que, a través de la instrucción explícita con técnicas del Enfoque en la Forma, permita dirigir la atención de los estudiantes a la existencia y recurrencia de estas frases, sus usos y funciones y brindarles oportunidades para su práctica y empleo productivo en contextos guiados y más libres. Es imprescindible que estas perspectivas se traduzcan en modificaciones dentro de las asignaturas didácticas y de desarrollo de competencia lingüística de los idiomas en el nivel universitario y de formación para que luego alcancen todos los niveles de enseñanza de los idiomas extranjeros.

<p text="" align="justify">La denominada concordancia <em>ad sensum</em> es uno de los fenómenos más llamativos en español y otras lenguas. En este trabajo nos proponemos demostrar que este tipo de concordancia puede explicarse por medio de mecanismos vinculados con los mismos factores que intervienen en la concordancia general, i. e., la estructura sintáctica y las operaciones morfológicas. Nuestra investigación se enmarca en el modelo de la Morfología Distribuida (Halle y Marantz 1993) y busca dar cuenta de las concordancias alternantes y del bloqueo de tal alternancia en determinados contextos, a partir de un análisis detallado de la estructura del Sintagma de Determinante y de los rasgos involucrados en las proyecciones funcionales del ámbito nominal.</p>
ABSTRACT <br />
<p text="" align="justify">The so-called <em>ad sensum</em> agreement is one of the most significant phenomena in Spanish and other languages. In this paper, we attempt to prove that this kind of agreement can be explained by the mechanisms related to the same factors involved in general agreement, i. e., the syntactic structure and the morphological operations. Our investigation is framed in Distributed Morphology (Halle y Marantz <a id="rid_j_shll-2016-0007_ref_024" href="https://www.degruyter.com/view/j/shll.2016.9.issue-1/shll-2016-0007/shll-2016-0007.xml#j_shll-2016-0007_ref_024" class="xref">1993</a>) and it pretends to explain the alternating agreement and the blocking of this alternation in particular contexts, by analyzing, in detail, the structure of the Determiner Phrase and the features involved in the functional projections of the nominal scope.</p>

<p text="" align="justify">En el presente trabajo se describen los diferentes contextos en los que tiene lugar la concordancia inesperada en español (anotenlon) y se discuten las principales propuestas de análisis sobre este fenómeno. La mayoría de los datos recopilados escapan a las explicaciones sugeridas hasta el momento, ya que ilustran que es posible encontrar todas las posibilidades lógicas para la ocurrencia de la -n enclítica y, además, que el copiado/desplazamiento de la morfología de concordancia se produce también con la primera persona del plural, aunque de manera parcial (anotemoslon).<br /><br />ABSTRACT<br />In this paper, we describe the different linguistic contexts in which unexpected verbal morphology can be found in Spanish dialects and we discuss the main proposals for this phenomenon. Most of the data we present here, which belong to different dialects, are not explained by the research developed so far, because the examples show that all the logic possibilities for the occurrence of enclitic -n can be observed. Moreover, the copy/displacement of agreement morphology also takes place with the first plural person, although it happens in a partial way.</p>

<p text="" align="justify">Una de las lecturas que desencadena la presencia del clítico se en español es la recíproca. A diferencia de la lectura reflexiva, la interpretación recíproca se obtiene únicamente cuando el clítico se vincula a una expresión plural, sea un plural morfológico o sintáctico (i.e., una coordinación). Sin embargo, la presencia de un sintagma comitativo favorece la lectura recíproca aún si la expresión con la que se relaciona el clítico está en singular (Astérix se abrazó con Obélix). Este fenómeno se denomina reciprocidad discontinua (Dimitriadis 2000 y trabajos posteriores) y ha sido estudiado principalmente en las lenguas eslavas. Nuestro objetivo es revisar las características de esta construcción en español y determinar, por un lado, cómo se vincula el sintagma comitativo con el resto de la estructura y, por el otro, cuál es el estatuto del clítico se. A partir de estas discusiones proponemos un análisis en el marco de la Gramática Generativa que permite dar cuenta de las propiedades de ciertos sintagmas preposicionales y de las consecuencias del ensamble de éstos en la estructura general.</p>

<p text="" align="justify">Con el propósito evaluar el estado de situación de los Estudios de Traducción (ET) en Argentina, en este artículo hacemos referencia a una serie de eventos que constituyen indicadores positivos de su presente y de sus avances en las últimas dos décadas: la celebración de reuniones científicas, la creación de centros de investigación y la incorporación de asignaturas de teoría en la formación de grado. Los datos que presentamos en esta publicación provienen del Proyecto de investigación La formación en traducción e interpretación en Argentina (04/J025) y de las investigaciones que se realizan en el marco del Centro de Estudios en Traducción, en la Universidad Nacional del Comahue. Al momento de reflexionar acerca de las perspectivas de futuro de la investigación sobre traducción, concluimos que es necesario fortalecer y ampliar la oferta de postgrado y las oportunidades de publicación de investigaciones, a fin de lograr la consolidación de la institucionalización de los ET en el país.</p>
ABSTRACT.
The organization of scientific meetings, the creation of research centres and the inclusion of theory to the undergraduate translation training programs are evidence of the state of the art of Translation Studies (TS) and its progress in the last two decades in Argentina. However, in order to consolidate its institutional academic status, more TS journals and publications, and a greater number or research-oriented graduate programs are needed. Data presented in this article was collected in the research project «Translator and Interpreter Training in Argentina» (04/J025) and at the Centre for Translation Studies, at the National University of Comahue.

<p text="" align="justify">Con el propósito evaluar el estado de situación de los Estudios de Traducción (ET) en Argentina, en este artículo hacemos referencia a una serie de eventos que constituyen indicadores positivos de su presente y de sus avances en las últimas dos décadas: la celebración de reuniones científicas, la creación de centros de investigación y la incorporación de asignaturas de teoría en la formación de grado. Los datos que presentamos en esta publicación provienen del Proyecto de investigación La formación en traducción e interpretación en Argentina (04/J025) y de las investigaciones que se realizan en el marco del Centro de Estudios en Traducción, en la Universidad Nacional del Comahue. Al momento de reflexionar acerca de las perspectivas de futuro de la investigación sobre traducción, concluimos que es necesario fortalecer y ampliar la oferta de postgrado y las oportunidades de publicación de investigaciones, a fin de lograr la consolidación de la institucionalización de los ET en el país.</p>

<p text="" align="justify">Desde un abordaje fonológico, el ritmo de habla se considera como la suma de diversas propiedades fonético-fonológicas, como la estructura silábica, el rol del acento y la reducción vocálica. El español y el inglés representan dos tipologías rítmicas marcadamente diferenciadas. Para dar cuenta de las diferencias rítmicas de las lenguas se han instrumentado diversas mediciones acústicas. En este trabajo adoptamos dos de las principales métricas rítmicas de duración: %V y VarcoV, empleadas en dos tratamientos distintos según el cómputo de las pausas en el habla (métodos A y B del programa Correlatore) y según los elementos finales antes de las pausas (inclusión y exclusión del intervalo final). Por medio de un corpus obtenido de forma experimental, comparamos las distintas mediciones para dar cuenta de los cómputos más productivos a la hora de reflejar las diferencias del ritmo del español de la Patagonia argentina y el del inglés estándar de Inglaterra y Estados Unidos. Nuestros resultados indican que la manera más óptima de diferenciar estos dos ritmos corresponde al empleo de la métrica VarcoV por medio del método B y con exclusión del intervalo final.<br /><br />Abstract<br /><br /><span>From a phonological approach, speech rhythm has been conceived of as the product of different phonetic and phonological properties, such as syllabic structure, the role of stress and vowel reduction. Spanish and English represent two clearly different rhythmic typologies. Many acoustic measurements have been developed in order to account for the rhythmic differences among languages. In this study two rhythm metrics are adopted: %V and VarcoV. These metrics are computed considering two treatments for pauses (method A and B from the software Correlatore) and the treatment for intervals before pauses (with inclusion or exclusion of final intervals). By means of a corpus obtained experimentally, different measurements are compared so as to get the most productive way of distinguishing the rhythm of Spanish in Patagonia, Argentina, and the rhythm from standard British English and standard American English. The results indicate that the most effective technique for reflecting rhythmical differences is by means of VarcoV, method B and exclusion of final intervals.</span></p>

<p text="" align="justify">El presente trabajo tiene por objetivo desarrollar un análisis para los nombres de relación (no) simétrica en español que permita dar cuenta de sus propiedades semánticas, sintácticas y morfo-fonológicas. A tal fin, se revisan dos aspectos: por un lado, la relación entre el género y la noción de simetría (‘Esteban es hermano de Ana’ pero ‘Ana es hermana/*hermano de Esteban’) y, por el otro, las alternancias argumentales que se reconocen en estos nombres (‘Esteban es hermano de Ana/Esteban y Ana son hermanos’). Lo novedoso de esta propuesta es que retoma algunas discusiones clásicas, como las referidas al género y a la predicación, y avanza en soluciones que permiten explicar un conjunto de nombres que constituyen una clase natural. Dado que el abordaje de este fenómeno se realiza desde un enfoque neoconstruccionista en el marco de la Morfología Distribuida, un aspecto central es la discusión sobre la individuación de raíces y la relación entre el componente sintáctico y el componente interpretativo. Finalmente, la propuesta busca extender al ámbito nominal la distinción entre elementos relacionales (categorizadores, PLACE) y no relacionales (Sintagmas Determinantes, raíces) para explorar cómo se establecen las relaciones de predicación y referencialidad.<br /><br />Abstract<br /><br />The following paper aims to provide an analysis of (non) symmetric relational nouns in Spanish, accounting for their semantic, syntactic and morpho-phonological characteristics. Accordingly, two aspects are revisited: on the one hand, the relationship between gender and symmetry (Esteban es hermano de Ana ‘Esteban is brother of Ana’, but Ana es hermana/*hermano de Esteban ‘Ana is sister/*brother of Esteban’); and, on the other hand, the alternations regarding the argument structure of these nouns (Esteban es hermano de Ana ‘Esteban is brother of Ana’/Esteban y Ana son hermanos ‘Esteban and Ana are brother and sister’). The novelty of this proposal is that it recovers classical discussions, such as the ones related to gender and predication, and sheds light on a group of nouns that conforms a natural class. Since this research is framed in a neoconstructionist approach like Distributed Morphology, it focuses on the discussion about root individuation and the relationship between syntactic derivation and the conceptual component. Last but not least, it extends the distinction between relational (categorizers, PLACE) and non-relational (DDPP and roots) elements into the nominal scope, in order to explore the difference in predication and referential expressions.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">En este trabajo se analizan las propiedades temáticas y eventivas de las semi-cópulas quedar y quedarse. Se demuestra que no son dos ítems lexicales separados sino una raíz cuyo contexto sintáctico impone distintas estructuras temáticas y eventivas. Basados en la clasificación aspectual de Vendler (1967) y de Pustejovsky (1995), se ofrece una descripción aspectual de la semi-cópula y se demuestra que puede aparecer tanto en construcciones estativas como en transicionales. en ambos casos, puede aparecer el clítico se, el cual se relaciona con la noción de causa interna (Levin y Rappaport Hovav 1995). Para el análisis se recurre a la propuesta de Travis (2005), que postula la articulación de las vPs. este trabajo se inscribe en las propuestas sintactistas debido a que desde una perspectiva lexicalista, se perdería la posibilidad de capturar y explicar generalizaciones en términos de la estructura sintáctica, en especial, de la estructura funcional/eventiva como responsable de la estructura temática.<br /><br />Abstract<br /><br />In this research work different thematic and aspectual properties of the semi-copula quedar and quedarse are analysed. It is shown that they are not two different and separate lexical items but only one root whose syntactic context imposes thematic and eventive structures. Using Vendler´s (1967) and Pustejovsky´s (1995) aspectual classification of predicates, a description is given of the aspectual possibilities of the semi-copula showing that it can appear both in locative and in transitional structures. The clitic se can appear in both cases, the claim being that it is related to the notion of internal cause (Levin y Rappaport Hovav 1995). as regards the analysis, Travis´s proposal (2005) of articulated vPs has been used. It is worth noting that this work offers a syntactic proposal as a lexical perspective would not allow to capture syntactic generalization in terms of syntactic structure, especially, the functional /eventive structure which is responsible of thematic structure.</p>

<p>En este artículo describimos las principales características de las carreras de traducción, del nivel de grado, que ofrecen las universidades públicas argentinas. Presentamos, en primer lugar, un panorama general de la formación de traductores e intérpretes en el sistema universitario argentino. Luego de hacer una breve referencia a la situación actual de la profesión y de los Estudios de Traducción, describimos la traducción como un proceso cognitivo, ejecutivo y social adquirible. A partir de estos conceptos, identificamos en los planes de estudios los distintos componentes ligados al desarrollo de las habilidades y conocimientos necesarios para poder llevar adelante este proceso complejo (de traducción), y que los estudiantes deberán adquirir durante su formación. Los resultados que surgen de este análisis ponen en evidencia las fortalezas, aunque también las ausencias, en la formación de traductores de Argentina.<br /><br />Abstract<br /><br />This article outlines the main characteristics of undergraduate translator training programmes offered by public universities in Argentina. Firstly, a general overview of translator and interpreter training in the Argentinian university system is presented. After making a brief reference to the current situation of translation profession and Translation Studies, translation is defined as a cognitive, executive and social process that can be acquired. Taking these concepts into account, the skills and knowledge needed to carry out this complex (translation) process are identified in the different components of translator training programmes. The analysis evidences the strengths, but also the weaknesses, in translator training in Argentina.</p>
