A partir de esta definición, en este artículo afirmamos que la ejercitación gramatical en el aula acerca de distintos aspectos relacionados con la estructura argumental puede servir como estrategia para comprender cómo se estructura el significado en las oraciones. El trabajo sobre la estructura argumental, además, nos permite repensar algunos de los contenidos estipulados en los diseños curriculares oficiales (concretamente, de aquellos de la provincia de Río Negro, Argentina). In concrete, the activities provided are specially designed for first, second and third period of elementary school. The grammatical content that serves as a focal point for our discussion is argument structure of predicates. According to Grimshaw (1990), argument structure is the lexical representation of the grammatical information about a given predicate (i.e., quantity and hierarchy of arguments and thematic roles). On the basis of this definition, we argue that grammar activities on distinct aspects of argument structure can serve as a strategy to comprehend how meaning is structured at the level of the sentence. Furthermore, the work on argument structure allows us to reconsider some of the stipulated contents present in official curricular designs (concretely, the curriculum design of Río Negro, Argentina).
